Director of Pre-Construction
Having been part of the Spire team since inception eleven years ago, Russell Clark is integral as Director of Pre-Construction. Russell began his construction career in 2000 as a labourer before becoming a project manager and he utilizes this practical experience to oversee the design of Spire’s projects. In addition to managing the permit acquisition process for our projects, Russell is also the lead estimator for the company.
Russell’s strengths and experience lie within the residential and commercial construction and development– constructing buildings from the ground up and engaging in complex renovations of existing buildings. He has built millions of square feet of buildings and tenant improvements. He is driven by Spire’s commitment to continually improve and reach the high standards set for both company and client projects.
Russell holds Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees from both The Smith School of Business at Queen’s University and The Johnson College of Business at Cornell University, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Technology in Construction Management (With Distinction). He is a recipient of the Stantec Award for Construction Management through the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). Russell and his family are active in the outdoors.
