Founded by a well-known medical specialist, the Pollock Clinic in New Westminster is 1,800 square feet of high-end medical space. Led by Spire, the tenant improvement included eight examination rooms, two of which are also operating rooms, and a sophisticated waiting area. Working within an old building from the 1960s had its challenges. We embarked on the goal of bringing everything up to current building code and safety regulations, which included upgrading electrical and plumbing and achieving ASHRAE standards. To maintain a safe environment, we mitigated HAZMAT on site. The space was finished with ultra-high-end Herman Miller millwork and furniture specialized for medical use, creating an elegantly professional clinic.
